Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Senior Vice President, Construction will be responsible for construction services across Canada in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Cahill Group. In this role, you will be expected to lead a unit that performs broad work scopes while building long lasting relationships with clients. You will also provide direction to direct reports on all aspects of project management as the organization embarks upon a variety of large scale industrial, institutional and heavy commercial projects. You will embody the Cahill vision that "together we're building beyond".
As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced leader in the construction industry who has successfully led large scale infrastructure projects in highly technical and multi-stakeholder environments. You have demonstrated experience in strategy, business development, and project management of both large and smaller scale projects. You have the ability to advise clients on all aspects of complex projects and can act as a key liaison with senior project managers, engineers, contractors and stakeholders. You have experience with strategy/KPIs and are a strong leader. As the ideal candidate, you will have an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate a solid track record in project management and running a business line. You will have strong interpersonal skills and integrity; enabling you to provide a positive brand and reputational image for the company as you create a vision for further growth and success. As well, you have demonstrated ability as a team builder and coach. You have experience in successfully developing marketing and business development plans. Market knowledge of NL, NS, NB and AB are considered an asset.
